In addition to the Stockholm event, Agassi also has decided against playing in the Masters Series tournaments in Madrid, which starts on Oct. 13, and Paris a week later.

The fourth-ranked American won the Australian Open in January for his eighth Grand Slam title and three other events this year. He has not played since losing to Juan Carlos Ferrero in the semifinals of the U.S. Open.

Agassi and his wife, tennis great Steffi Graf, are expecting their second child in November.
