FOXBORO, Mass., Sept. 18 (UPI) -- The Colorado Rapids had two players sent off Thursday night, but held on for a scoreless tie against the New England Revolution.

Midfielder Kyle Beckerman was ejected two minutes before halftime for a foul from behind on Jose Cancela, who minutes earlier set up Steve Ralston for a header that hit the crossbar.

The second Rapids player sent off was midfielder Pablo Mastroeni, who was issued a second yellow card for a dangerous challenge on Leonard Marshall.

The Revolution also did not complete the match with a full squad as midfielder Brian Kamler was red-carded for a studs-up challenge on Rapids defender Wes Hart.
