Connecticut is making its playoff debut after moving from Orlando prior to the season. The Sun, who had just one postseason win in franchise history when they were known as the Miracle, doubled that total against the Sting.

Connecticut rallied for a two-point win in Game One on Thursday and jumped out to a big lead in this one before holding on.

The Sun scored nine consecutive points early in the first half, taking an 18-7 lead on a pair of free throws by McWilliams-Franklin with 10:40 left. Johnson scored four points during an 8-0 run later in the half and Connecticut had a 40-23 halftime lead.
