Jamie Moyer (15-6) was 5-0 in nine starts since a loss at Anaheim on June 25, but he fell behind for good on an RBI single by Josh Phelps in the second.

Toronto had a 3-0 lead before Eric Hinske and Vernon Wells started the seventh with singles, chasing Moyer. After Carlos Delgado flied out against Rafael Soriano, Kielty doubled in Hinske and Greg Myers made it 5-0 when Wells just beat the throw to the plate on his grounder to second.
