ATLANTA, Aug. 16 (UPI) -- The Atlanta Braves overcame a poor start by Horacio Ramirez and sloppy defense to hammer Arizona 10-6 Saturday night.

Marcus Giles homered, Andruw Jones drove in three runs and Gary Sheffield extended his hitting streak to a career-high 20 games for the Braves, who are well on their way to their unprecedented 12th consecutive division crown.
