Tracy wins Molson Indy Vancouver

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 27 (UPI) -- Paul Tracy dominated Sunday's IRL Molson Indy Vancouver, leading the final 80 laps for his second straight victory from the pole.

Tracy has created some controversy of late with his aggressive driving and blocking of other racers. Once known as "Captain Crunch" for his many crashes, the Canadian has made his critics

sound like sore losers.

Following Saturday's qualifying, when he reclaimed the pole he was stripped of a day earlier for a blocking violation, Tracy said, "This year, I've done my talking with my driving, while the others did it in the pit lane or to the officials."

As he did two weeks ago in Toronto, Tracy overwhelmed the field at the 1.781-mile temporary street course. It was his fifth win this season and 25th career.

Brazil's Bruno Junqueira, who finished second, jumped past Tracy at the green flag but was penalized for the infraction.
