SEATTLE, July 26 (UPI) -- Joel Pineiro pitched a three-hitter and Mark McLemore had three hits Saturday as the Seattle Mariners posted 4-0 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Pineiro (12-5) struck out seven for his seventh win in his last eight starts. After hitting Einar Diaz with a pitch in the third inning, the righthander retired the next 10 batters.

It was his second complete game of the season and third career shutout.

McLemore scored the only run Pineiro needed in the fourth when he came home on a groundout by Mike Cameron. He capped the scoring with an RBI single in the seventh.

Willie Bloomquist had two hits and scored twice and Randy Winn collected three hits for the Mariners, who have won four of their last five games.

Recalled from Class AAA Oklahoma earlier in the day, Texas starter Colby Lewis (4-6) lost for the sixth time in his last seven starts.
