NEW YORK, July 20 (UPI) -- Mike Mussina got his first win in more than three weeks Sunday, pitching 6 2/3 innings as the New York Yankees beat the Cleveland Indians, 7-4.
Mussina (11-6) allowed three runs and seven hits. He nursed a 1-0 lead before Jorge Posada's two-run home run ignited a six-run outburst in the bottom of the sixth.
The righthander took a two-hit shutout into the seventh, but the long delay seemed to affect him as he gave up four straight two-out hits. Jhonny Peralta's RBI single pulled the Indians within 7-3.
The Yankees completed their first four-game sweep of the Indians at Yankee Stadium since 1994.
Jake Westbrook (4-5) held the Yankees to one unearned run in five innings.
