CINCINNATI, July 20 (UPI) -- Jeff Bagwell hit two home runs Sunday to reach 400 for his career as the Houston Astros beat the Cincinnati Reds, 6-3, to sweep a four-game series.
Jeff Kent also homered for Houston, which has won a team-record 10 straight games over the Reds and 28 of 36 in the series. The Astros have won 10 of 11 overall, while the Reds have dropped 11 of 14.
Bagwell gave Houston the lead with a sacrifice fly off Danny Graves (4-10) in the top of the first. After Morgan Ensberg led off the fourth with an infield single, Bagwell sent Graves' first pitch over left field wall for his 19th homer.
Two frames later, Bagwell moved past Al Kaline into 35th place on the all-time list by hitting his 400th homer, a two-out solo shot to left-center on a 2-1 pitch from Graves.
