OAKLAND, Calif., July 6 (UPI) -- After Keith Foulke blew a save in the ninth inning Sunday, Erubiel Durazo drove in Eric Byrnes with a sacrifice fly to give Oakland a 6-5 triumph over Anaheim.
Foulke (6-1) had recorded saves in 21 of 24 opportunities this season. The closer entered the ninth inning with a 5-3 lead but surrendered a two-run homer to Scott Spiezio with one out.
Byrnes sent the first pitch of Scott Schoeneweis (1-1) in the bottom of the frame to the wall in left-center field for a double, and moved to third on a sacrifice by Scott Hatteberg.
Starter Tim Hudson yielded one run and four hits in 6 2/3 innings as he did not factor in a decision for a 10th game this season.
Ramon Hernandez went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in the sixth inning and an RBI single in the seventh.
