Swedish rookie shares lead

MEMPHIS, Texas, June 27 (UPI) -- Sweden's Richard Johnson grabbed a share of the lead Friday in his 15th PGA Tour start with a 5-under 66 in the second round of the St. Jude Classic.

Johnson finished long before veteran John Huston, who chipped in for eagle, holed a bunker shot for birdie and caught the rookie with an 8-under 63. They shared the lead at 12-under 130, a stroke better than journeyman David Peoples.

Fredrik Jacobson and David Gossett shared fourth place at 133 while first-round leader, 49-year-old Jay Haas, shared sixth place with Lee Janzen and Kirk Triplett.

Haas shot a 70 to follow his opening-round 64.
