Montreal 8, Toronto 5

MONTREAL, June 21 (UPI) -- Orlando Cabrera's three-run homer capped a seven-run eighth inning Saturday as Montreal rallied for an 8-5 victory over Toronto.

Montreal had just three hits in the eighth - their biggest inning of the season. Brian Schneider's RBI groundout tied the game and Cabrera followed with his 11th homer of the season.

Toronto closer Cliff Politte (1-5) entered with a 5-2 lead and the bases loaded and one out and was tagged with his fifth blown save of the season.

The Blue Jays had their four-game winning streak snapped and lost for just the second time in 11 games.

Toronto starter Mark Hendrickson allowed one run in six innings and also hit the first home run by a pitcher in team history.
