ADA, Mich., June 21 (UPI) -- Ed Dougherty fired a second straight 6-under-par 66 Saturday and grabbed a one-stroke lead after the second round of the Farmers Charity Classic.
Dougherty is at 12-under 132 after two trips over the Egypt Valley Country Club. He began the day in a group of five one shot behind Morris Hatalsky, who slipped with a 1-under 71.
The 55-year-old Dougherty is looking for his third tour title and first since the TD Waterhouse Championship.
Hubert Green, who also was tied for second when he teed off, shot a 67 and is one stroke off the pace. It is another two shots back to Mark Pfeil (64), Doug Tewell (66) and Bruce Fleisher (69).
Hatalsky is among a group of five at 8-under 136.
