HOUSTON, June 18 (UPI) -- Roy Oswalt has been placed on the Houston Astros' 15-day disabled list with a groin pull.

The move is retroactive to June 12.

Oswalt, one of the six pitchers involved in the record-setting no-hitter of the New York Yankees June 11, had to leave that contest in the second inning. He is 4-4 with a 3.05 ERA this season.

"He tried throwing off the mound for the first time (Tuesday) and he felt (the groin) a little bit," said General Manager Gerry Hunsicker. "It's a set-back, but it's only a setback."

Last season, Oswalt, 25, went 19-9 and has a career record of 37-16 with a 2.93 ERA.

To fill his roster spot, Houston recalled righthander Rodrigo Rosario from Triple-A New Orleans of the Pacific Coast League.

Rosario was 5-7 with a 4.03 ERA in 15 appearances with the Zephyrs.
