Minnesota 3, Arizona 1

MINNEAPOLIS, June 13 (UPI) -- Torii Hunter's two-run single in the sixth inning broke a tie and lifted Minnesota to a 3-1 win Friday over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Twins trailed 1-0 with two outs in the inning but rallied with an RBI single by Justin Morneau and Hunter's hit, which scored Morneau and Cristian Guzman.

Johan Santana (4-1) filling in for the injured Rick Reed, went seven innings for the win. Brandon Webb (3-2) took the loss.

Minnesota starters have pitched into the seventh inning in 10 straight games.
