New York Yankees 5, Houston 3

NEW YORK, June 11 (UPI) -- Jorge Posada hit a two-run homer to lead the New York Yankees over Houston, 5-3, Tuesday, ending a seven-game Astros' winning streak.

The Yankees got three runs in the fifth inning on Posada's homer and an RBI single by Jason Giambi.

Mike Mussina pitched seven innings to get his first win in more than a month. Mussina (8-4) scattered eight hits, including a two-run homer by Craig Biggio.

Wade Miller (4-7) took the loss, giving up all the Yankee runs and five hits in seven innings.
