HOUSTON, June 7 (UPI) -- Richard Hidalgo hit a go-ahead, two-out homer in the bottom of the eighth inning Saturday to give Houston a 5-4 victory over Tampa Bay.

Billy Wagner slammed the door in the ninth to tie Dave Smith for the franchise record in career saves.

Houston, which has rallied for victory in 22 of its 35 wins this season, trailed 4-3 heading to the bottom of the eighth. Alan Levine (2-3), in his third inning of relief, got Jeff Bagwell to open the inning but surrendered a game-tying homer to Jeff Kent.

Levine rebounded to retire Lance Berkman, who hit a three-run homer in the opening inning, but Hidalgo crushed a 1-0 pitch for his eighth homer of the season.

After Kirk Saarloos (2-0) worked a scoreless eighth, Wagner retired all three batters he faced to notch his 18th save in 19 opportunities this season.
