Cleveland 5; Chi. White Sox 2

CLEVELAND, June 2 (UPI) -- Milton Bradley hit a go-ahead two-run double in a three-run sixth inning against Bartolo Colon Monday as Cleveland dumped the Chicago White Sox, 5-2.

With the victory, the Indians extended their season-high winning streak to five games.

Cleveland swept a three-game series from the White Sox at Jacobs Field from May 31-June 2, 2002. This time, the Indians swept a rain-shortened set, winning the first game on May 30 and the last two on June 1 and 2.

The odds were against the Indians on Monday with Brian Anderson (3-5), who was 0-5 with a 6.21 ERA in his last seven starts, opposing Colon (5-5), who lasted just six innings, his shortest outing since a rain-shortened game on May 4, and allowed four runs and seven hits. He was 1-0 with a 3.00 ERA in his previous two starts against Cleveland this season.

The Indians traded the hard-throwing righthander to Montreal last July. Meanwhile, Anderson earned his first win since April 9, yielding two runs and five hits in six innings.

Danys Baez worked a perfect ninth for his 11th save.

Bradley's two-run single in the sixth gave the Indians a 3-2 lead, and he scored on a two-out single by Ben Broussard.

Jody Gerut, who had the game-winning, two-out RBI single in the 10th inning of Cleveland's win on Sunday, added a solo homer off Colon in the fourth inning.

D'Angelo Jiminez led off the game with a home run and added an RBI single in the fifth for the White Sox, who lost for the 11th time in 16 games.
