Cincinnati 7, Milwaukee 6 (10 inn.)

CINCINNATI, May 9 (UPI) -- Jose Guillen's two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning off Luis Vizcaino Friday night lifted the Cincinnati Reds to a 7-6 triumph over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Guillen crushed a 2-0 pitch from Vizcaino (0-2) over the center field wall to power Cincinnati to its fifth straight victory.

Aaron Boone homered off reliever Dustin Hermanson leading off the bottom of the ninth inning on Monday night as the Reds pulled out a 5-4 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.

The following day, the fans at The Great American Ball Park were provided another treat. Activated from the 15-day disabled list earlier Tuesday, pinch-hitter Barry Larkin smacked a game-winning, two-run homer off Kiko Calero in the bottom of the ninth inning as Cincinnati recorded a dramatic 6-5 victory over St. Louis.

Reds reliever Brian Reith (1-0) picked up the win despite yielding a run in the top of the 10th.
