LOS ANGELES, April 9 (UPI) -- Dave Roberts and Adrian Beltre each were hit by pitches and scored in the final two innings Tuesday night as the Los Angeles Dodgers rallied pat Arizona, 5-3.
Arizona had a one-run lead when reliever Miguel Batista (0-2) hit Roberts with the first pitch of the seventh inning. Roberts went to third base on a single by Cesar Izturis, and scored the tying run on a sacrifice fly by Shawn Green.
Izturis scored from first base on a double by Paul Lo Duca to give the Dodgers a 4-3 edge.
Arizona's Mike Koplove started the eighth and hit Beltre with his second pitch. After Alex Cora sacrificed, Beltre scored on an errant throw by shortstop Craig Counsell on a grounder by pinch hitter Brian Jordan. The throw sailed into the Los Angeles dugout.
Dodgers reliever Paul Shuey (1-1) pitched two scoreless innings for the victory, and Eric Gange worked a perfect ninth for his first save.
