Nemechek wins Busch race

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 29 (UPI) -- Joe Nemechek took advantage of a late red flag and led the final seven laps Saturday to capture the Busch Series O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway.

The race was stopped on lap 191 due to a 15-car accident in turn 1 and finished under caution.

Nemechek got his Chevrolet to the front on the restart, but another late crash brought out the caution at the finish. It was his second series win of 2003.

Scott Riggs was second in a Ford Taurus, followed by Shane Hmiel and series points leader Todd Bodine in Chevrolets. Rookie Chad Blount earned his first career series top five in a Dodge.
