Cleveland 2, Cincinnati 0

SARASOTA, Fla., March 23 (UPI) -- Ricardo Rodriguez and three relievers combined on a six-hitter Sunday as the Cleveland Indians blanked the Cincinnati Reds, 2-0.

Rodriguez allowed four hits over six innings with four walks and five strikeouts.

Jose Santiago, Carl Sadler and David Riske each followed Rodriguez with scoreless innings. Riske picked up the save.

Ryan Dempster took the loss, allowing two runs and five hits over four innings. He gave up a solo home run to Shane Spencer in the second and an RBI single to Karim Garcia in the third.

Matt Lawton, Spencer and Garcia had two hits apiece for the Indians.

Barry Larkin collected two of the Reds' five hits.
