BRISTOL, Tenn., March 22 (UPI) -- Winston Cup regular Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag in Saturday's Channellock 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway for his ninth career Busch Series victory.
Harvick stayed out of trouble and had a good late pit stop before rolling to his third win at Bristol in seven starts.
Winston Cup regulars have won four of the five Busch Series races this season.
Tony Raines was second to match a career-best finish. Raines recorded his third runner-up result.
Jason Keller was the highest Busch series driver in third place for his top finish in five events this season. He also posted a pair of fifth-place finishes this year.
Only about half of the 43-car field finished the 250-lap event, which was slowed by 13 caution flags. Just the top 13 cars finished on the lead lap.
