Colorado 5, Arizona 3

TUCSON, March 17 (UPI) -- Todd Helton doubled twice, scored a pair of runs and drove in another as the Colorado Rockies held on Monday for a 5-3 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Helton's RBI double sparked a three-run first inning. The All-Star first baseman scored on an error by left fielder Luis Gonzalez to make it 2-0 and Jose Hernandez followed with an RBI triple.

Preston Wilson and Larry Walker delivered RBI doubles in the third to increase the lead to 5-0.

The Rockies victimized Armando Reynoso, who was tagged for five runs and six hits in three innings.

Colorado starter Aaron Cook yielded four hits and a pair of walks in five scoreless innings to record his second spring win.
