St. Louis 7, Baltimore 5

JUPITER, Fla., March 14 (UPI) -- Pat Hentgen continued his spring struggles and suffered his third consecutive loss Friday as the Baltimore Orioles fell to the St. Louis Cardinals, 7-5.

Hentgen, who only has pitched in 13 games in two injury-plagued seasons with the Orioles, allowed six runs and eight hits in five innings.

Baltimore's Larry Bigbie had the only homer of the game, a two-run shot in the fifth inning.

St. Louis starter Garrett Stephenson was the winning pitcher, allowing three runs and seven hits in five innings.

Albert Pujols had two hits and three RBI for St. Louis, which also got two hits from Miguel Cairo.
