Arizona 5, Colorado 3

TUCSON, March 12 (UPI) -- Luis Terrero delivered a two-run home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning Wednesday to lift the Arizona Diamondbacks to a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

Colorado tied the game in the top of the ninth on Kevin Eberwein's solo homer off Matt Mantei, but Brad Clontz retired only one batter in the bottom half of the frame.

After walking Feliz Jose with one out, Clontz surrendered the game-winning homer to Terrero.

Mantei left the game after breaking a fingernail on his throwing hand. Manny Aybar replaced Mantei and recorded three outs to get the victory.

Arizona starter Oscar Villarreal allowed one run and one hit in four innings. He allowed just a solo homer by Pablo Ozuna in the bottom of the first.

Colorado starter Aaron Cook yielded one unearned run and four hits in four innings.

Todd Helton's solo homer off Andrew Good gave the Rockies a 2-1 lead in the sixth.

Arizona answered with two in the seventh, taking a 3-2 lead on Mike Bell's two-run off Justin Speier.
