Chicago White Sox 7, Colorado 4

TUCSON, March 10 (UPI) -- Mark Buehrle pitched five scoreless innings and Frank Thomas and Paul Konerko homered Monday to power the Chicago White Sox to a come-from-behind 7-4 victory over the Colorado Rockies.

One day after his contract was renewed, Buehrle allowed two singles and walked two while striking out one. He left with a 4-0 lead after Thomas hit a solo shot in the fourth and Magglio Ordonez delivered a two-run single in the sixth.

Konerko hit a two-run blast in the seventh, one inning after singling as a pinch hitter.

Colorado rallied against relievers David Sanders and Mike Porzio. Choo Freeman homered in the seventh and Luke Allen tripled in a run and scored in the eighth.

The home run by Thomas was the only hit allowed in four innings by Rockies starter Jason Jennings.
