Colorado 68; Oklahoma State 56

BOULDER, Colo., March 6 (UPI) -- Colorado had little trouble in notching its 13th straight home victory Wednesday night, 68-56, over No. 18 Oklahoma State in Big 12 Conference play.

The win came despite the absence of leading scorer Michel Morandais, who sat out the contest with a sprained left ankle. Stephane Pelle and David Harrison picked up the scoring slack with 14 points apiece.

Blair Wilson added 13 for the Buffaloes (18-10, 8-7 Big 12), who have beaten four ranked teams during their home streak.

Colorado has won six of its last nine overall, while Oklahoma State (20-8, 9-6) has lost seven of 10 since a 15-game winning streak. The Buffaloes bolstered their hopes of an NCAA Tournament at-large berth.

Oklahoma State trailed by five points at halftime, but got to within 31-30 by scoring the first four points after the break.

Colorado then put the game away with a 10-0 run that included eight points by Wilson. The Cowboys never got closer than nine the rest of the way.

Ivan McFarlin and Victor Williams scored 13 points apiece for Oklahoma State, which lost to Colorado for just the fifth time in 19 games under Coach Eddie Sutton.
