Vancouver 2, Calgary 2 (OT)

CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Defenseman Ed Jovanovski, ending a 10-game goalless drought while extending Vancouver's unbeaten streak, helped erase a two-goal deficit Saturday night as he scored with 7:59 remaining in the third period to lift the Canucks into a 2-2 tie with the Calgary Flames.

Unbeaten in their previous eight games, the Canucks were in danger of having their five-game winning streak in Calgary snapped when Jarome Iginla netted a power-play goal midway through the second period to give the Flames a 2-0 lead.

But defenseman Brent Sopel answered with a power-play tally less than three minutes later and Jovanovski netted his fifth of the season at 12:01 of the third to move Vancouver to 5

4 in its last nine contests.

Dan Cloutier stopped 37 shots for the Canucks while Roman Turek made 30 saves for Calgary, which has not defeated Vancouver at home since Dec. 29, 2000.
