BUFFALO, N.Y., Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Buffalo Sabres veteran defenseman Jay McKee is expected to miss at least a month after spraining his left MCL in Saturday night's 5-4 win over the New York Rangers.

McKee left late in the first period and did not return. Coach Lindy Ruff estimated he would be sidelined between four and six weeks.
