Kansas 79, Baylor 58

WACO, Texas, Feb. 11 (UPI) -- Texas native Keith Langford scored 19 points and Nick Collison added 15 as the 10th-ranked Kansas Jayhawks withstood 10 3-pointers by the Baylor Bears and rolled Tuesday night to a 79-58 Big 12 Conference rout.

Kansas didn't match Baylor's long-range shooting, making 4-of-10 3-pointers. But it improved to 8-1 all-time against the Bears, who are fifth nationally with just under 10 3-pointers per game.

Kirk Hinrich contributed 14 points for the Jayhawks (18-5, 8-1 Big 12), who swept a two-game road trip and extended their winning streak to five. They have won 15 of their last 17.

R.T. Guinn and John Lucas each scored 15 points, but Baylor (10-10, 1-8) lost for the eighth time in its last nine games. Lucas' performance came with his father, former NBA star John Lucas, in the stands.

The Bears, who have struggled after winning nine of their first 11 games, fell to 0-7 against ranked foes this season.
