Kentucky 87, South Carolina 69

COLUMBIA, S.C., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Marquis Estill scored 18 points and Keith Bogans added 16 as seventh-ranked Kentucky extended its winning streak to 10 games Saturday with an 87-69 Southeastern Conference victory over South Carolina.

Erik Daniels contributed 14 points as four of Kentucky's starters scored in double figures. Chuck Hayes tallied 12 points and Gerald Fitch nine as the Wildcats shot 52 percent (34-of-65).

Kentucky (16-3, 6-0 SEC East) improved to 31-5 all time against South Carolina and remained one-half game behind No. 4 Florida (7-0) for the lead in the East division. The Wildcats host Florida on Tuesday.

Chuck Eidson scored 17 points and Kerbrell Brown added 15 for South Carolina (7-10, 1-6), which has lost six straight games.
