The Crimson Tide have struggled badly on offense recently and took it to new lows Saturday night. They shot 23 percent in the first half, endured a seven-minute drought without a point and went to the locker room trailing, 26-21.

The second half was more of the same as Alabama went another six minutes without scoring as Kentucky took a 41-29 lead on a pair of free throws by Keith Bogans to cap a 7-0 spurt. The lead stayed at double figures the rest of the way.

Erwin Dudley, the reigning SEC player of the Year, managed only five points for the Crimson Tide. Alabama shot a season-low 24 percent and has failed to score 70 points in their last eight games.
