Chicago 2, Minnesota 2 (OT)

CHICAGO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Theo Fleury snapped a five-game goalless drought at 3:06 of the third period Thursday night to lift the Chicago Blackhawks into a 2-2 tie with the Minnesota Wild.

After netting three goals in his first four games with the Blackhawks, the oft-troubled right wing failed to score in his next five.

But with Chicago down by a goal after two periods, Fleury pounced on the rebound of a shot by Alex Zhamnov on the doorstep and backhanded the puck past goaltender Dwayne Roloson early in the third to extend the Blackhawks' unbeaten streak to four games (3

1-0).

Sergei Berezin also tallied for Chicago, which is 6-1-2-0 in its last nine contests. Jocelyn Thibault stopped 24 shots in his 11th consecutive start.

Wes Walz and rookie Stephane Veilleux scored for the Wild, who are winless in their last four (0-3-1-0) after recording victories in five of their previous six contests.
