Harrington rolled in a 10-foot eagle putt at the second, holed a shot from 90 yards out at the fifth and then had an eagle putt of only a foot at the 11th when he hit the pin with his second shot at the par-5 hole.

After another excellent shot at the par-5 13th, Harrington had an eagle putt lip out.

Alone in third place at 204 was Bernhard Langer while David Toms and Nick Price shared fourth at 205.
