Sharpe, a 13-year veteran in his second stint with the Broncos, caught 12 passes for 214 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-34 overtime victory at Kansas City. He broke the tight end receiving yardage record set by Jackie Smith, who had 212 for for St. Louis against Pittsburgh on Oct. 13, 1963.

One of Sharpe's catches was an 82-yard touchdown, on which he ran away from Kansas City's secondary.

Clements had three interceptions, Buffalo's first three of the season, and returned one 29 yards for a touchdown in a 23-10 victory at Miami. He was the first Bill to make three interceptions in a game since Mark Kelso in 1992.

Brooks completed 23 of 35 passes for 254 yards and three touchdowns as he rallied the Saints to a 35-27 victory over San Francisco. He also ran for 26 yards and a score as New Orleans (6-1) kept pace with Green Bay for the best record in the NFL.

Like Clements, Wilson also had three interceptions. He added eight tackles and a sack in the Cardinals' 9-6 overtime win over Dallas.

Feely had a fine day in Atlanta's 30-0 rout of Carolina, kicking field goals of 41, 45 and 49 yards and drilling touchbacks on three of his seven kickoffs. He leads the NFL with 10 kickoff touchbacks.
