Colorado had a 1-0 lead in the fourth when Larry Walker drew a leadoff walk, took third on a single by Todd Helton and scored on a sacrifice fly by Greg Norton. After Sandy Alomar fouled out, Brent Butler was hit by a pitch from starter Adam Eaton and Uribe smacked a three-run homer to left field.

Eaton (0-1) surrendered seven runs and five hits in just four-plus innings. The righthander sustained his first loss since July 5, 2001, also against Colorado.
