Barrichello wins F1 race in Hungary

BUDAPEST, Hungary, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Two races after Michael Schumacher clinched the Formula One drivers' championship, Ferrari clinched its fourth constructors' title Sunday thanks to a flawless victory by pole sitter Rubens Barrichello at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Schumacher finished second to make the dominant performance that more impressive for the Italian team.

Barrichello won his second win of the year and third of his career by .434 of a second and averaged 111.645 miles per hour.

The Ferrari teammates ran 1-2 for all 77 laps, but Schumacher could not find a way to get past his partner either on the track or during the two pit stops by each racer.

Barrichello moved him into second place in the drivers championship behind Schumacher with 45 points.

Ralf Schumacher finished more than 13 seconds behind in third place in a Williams BMW. The younger brother of the five-time world champion is third in the standings with 40 points.

McLaren Mercedes drivers Kimi Raikkonen of Finland and David Coulthard of Scotland were fourth and fifth, respectively, after starting 11th and 10th.

Italy's Giancarlo Fisichella placed sixth for the last points-paying position.
