Cowboys sign Roy Williams

SAN ANTONIO, July 26 (UPI) -- The Dallas Cowboys completed the process of signing their 2002 draft class Friday, highlighted by first-round selection Roy Williams.

The safety out of the University of Oklahoma and the rest of the draft choices will be with the Cowboys when they open camp Saturday.

Also signed Friday were offensive lineman Andre Gurode and receiver Antonio Bryant, both taken in the second round.

"We are excited to have them," said Dallas Coach Dave Campo. "We certainly feel we had a good draft class and think we will have an opportunity to see it on the field."

All of the draft picks received seven-year contracts, although all have contracts that can be voided. Williams' contract cannot be voiced until after five seasons.
