CASABLANCA, Morocco, July 12 (UPI) -- No. 6 Patricia Wartusch of Austria was the only seeded player to move into the semifinals Friday at the Grand Prix De SAR La Princesse.
Wartusch, who defeated American Kristina Brandi in three sets in the second round, rallied for a 0-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Italy's Maria-Elena Camerin.
Three other seeded players lost Friday at the Tier V claycourt event.
Klara Koukalova of the Czech Republic breezed to a 6-2, 6-2 triumph over third-seeded Petra Mandula of Hungary. Koukalova will face Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova.
Kuznetsova held a 6-3, 3-0 lead when fourth-seeded Slovakian Ludmila Cervanova retired. In Friday's other match, Gisela Dulko of Argentina overcame seventh seed Zsofia Gubacsi of Hungary, 5-7, 6-2, 6-1.
