Los Angeles 4, St. Louis 2 (11 inn.)

ST. LOUIS, July 6 (UPI) -- Jeff Reboulet's sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning delivered Dave Roberts with the go-ahead run Saturday as the Los Angeles Dodgers handed the St. Louis Cardinals their second straight loss, 4-2.

Roberts began the 11th with a walk off Steve Kline (0-1). After Paul Lo Duca singled and Shawn Green walked to load the bases, Kline was replaced by Mike Crudale, who surrendered Reboulet's sacrifice fly.

Miguel Cairo, who entered as a pinch hitter in the 10th, took his eye off Reboulet's fly ball, which fell in right field and advanced all three runners.

Mark Grudzielanek added a sacrifice fly to give a two-run cushion to Eric Gagne, who breezed through the bottom of the inning to earn his major league-leading 32nd save in 34 chances.

Paul Quantrill (1-2) pitched a scoreless 10th to pick up the victory.

Los Angeles trailed after eight innings, 2-1, but Lo Duca batted for Cesar Izturis and singled off closer Jason Isringhausen and Eric Karros drove him in with a one-out double to deep left-center.

It was Isringhausen's fourth blown save in 23 chances.

Cardinals starter Woody Williams led off the third with a double off counterpart Hideo Nomo, advanced on Fernando Vina's groundout and scored the game's first run on Placido Polanco's grounder.

Brian Jordan tied it an inning later with a one-out homer to left-center. It was his 13th homer of the season.

Williams left after five innings due to back spasms and was listed as day-to-day. He was replaced by Dave Veres, who struck out four in three hitless innings.

Eli Marrero homered off reliever Giovanni Carrara to lead off the bottom of the eighth, giving Veres and the Cardinals a 2-1 lead.
