PORTLAND, Ore., June 27 (UPI) -- Ukari Figgs scored 16 points Wednesday night to lead the Portland Fire to a 64-57 victory over the Orlando Miracle, who had a five-game winning streak snapped.
Figgs was 5-of-7 from the floor and 5-of-5 from the foul line. She completed a three-point play with 2:14 left that put Portland ahead for good, 59-57.
The second half featured 12 lead changes and three ties before the Fire closed with a 10-0 run to nail down their third straight triumph.
Orlando forced 22 turnovers but shot just 28 percent (21-of-75) from the field.
Shannon Johnson scored 18 points, but Nykesha Sales made just 1-of-11 shots and had three points, 14 below her average.
