ORLANDO, Fla., June 23 (UPI) -- Nykesha Sales scored 25 of her career high-tying 29 points in the second half and Shannon Johnson added 17 Sunday to lead the Orlando Miracle to a come-from-behind, 77-65 victory over the New York Liberty.
The win was the fourth straight for the Miracle, who started the streak with a 71-62 victory at New York on Tuesday.
The Liberty held a 45-34 lead with 13:41 left before Johnson scored 10 points to highlight a 22-3 run over the next 5:02. Sales contributed five points in the spurt, which gave Orlando a 56-48 advantage.
The Miracle led by as many as 13 points in the final minutes.
Orlando hit 15 of 22 shots from the field and 19 of 21 from the line in the second half. Johnson was just two of nine from the field but 12 of 15 from the line and added nine rebounds.
Sales converted 10 of 16 shots and outplayed forwards Tamika Whitmore and Crystal Robinson, who combined for five fewer points than Sales.
Tari Phillips led the Liberty, who dropped their third in a row, with 16 points.
