NEW YORK, June 18 (UPI) -- Shannon Johnson scored eight of her 25 points in the final 8 1/2 minutes and Nykesha Sales added 15 as the Orlando Miracle posted a 71-62 victory Tuesday night over the New York Liberty.
Johnson grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists, surpassing 400 for her career. She also made 7-of-15 shots from the floor and 10-of-14 free throws.
The Liberty took a 55-52 lead on Crystal Robinson's three-point play with 8:53 remaining before the Miracle scored 19 of the final 26 points.
Taj MacWilliams-Franklin scored 10 points and fellow reserve Adrienne Johnson added eight for the Miracle.
Robinson finished with 19 points and Becky Hammon added 15 in just 18 minutes off the bench as New York had its six-game regular season home winning streak snapped.
Tari Phillips had 14 points and Tamika Whitmore 11 for the Liberty, who committed 17 turnovers and lost to the Miracle for the first time in six meetings at Madison Square Garden.
