NAZARETH, Pa., May 19 (UPI) -- Jason Keller collected his fourth victory of the year Sunday as he easily took the checkered flag in the NASCAR Busch Grand national series Stacker 2 200.
Driving a Ford Taurus, Keller gained the lead with 30 laps to go and the race under caution. He held off the Ford of leading rookie Scott Riggs and moved back into first place in the series points standings.
An accident occurred on lap 166 when 43-year-old Jeff Purvis was hit on the driver side by Greg Biffle. Purvis hit the high wall and bounced down into the line of traffic. Biffle tried to avoid the impact but did not have enough reaction time.
The race was red-flagged to have Purvis extricated from his Chevrolet. He was taken to a hospital for further evaluation. Biffle recuperated in his car for some time before walking to the ambulance.
