Los Angeles 9, Pittsburgh 6

PITTSBURGH, April 23 (UPI) -- Kazuhisa Ishii struggled through five innings but hung on long enough to benefit from a five-run fifth inning and post his fourth victory as the Los Angeles Dodgers came from behind Tuesday night to snap the Pittsburgh Pirates' seven-game winning streak, 9-6.

Staked to a 3-0 lead after one inning, Ishii (4-0) was tagged for six runs in the second. But he recovered and held the Pirates scoreless for the next three frames before exiting after 98 pitches.
