SEATTLE, March 31 (UPI) -- Ichiro Suzuki had a single, double and drove in two runs Sunday as the Seattle Mariners posted a 6-3 exhibition league triumph over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ryan Minor homered and Jeff Cirillo drove in two runs for the Mariners, who begin defense of their American League West title on Monday.

Los Angeles starter Kazuhisa Ishii was tagged for five runs and four hits in 2 2/3 innings. Ishii had trouble finding the strike zone, walking seven.

Eric Gagne, who could be the Dodgers' closer, allowed a hit in a scoreless eighth.

Jeff Reboulet and Mark Grudzielanek each had two hits and an RBI for Los Angeles.
