DUNEDIN, Fla., March 20 (UPI) -- Philadelphia starter Terry Adams threw five strong innings, but Chris Latham homered in the ninth inning Wednesday to rally the Toronto Blue Jays to a 5-5 tie with the Phillies.
Adams eased concerns over his readiness for Opening Day by allowing a run and four hits in five innings. He did not walk a batter and struck out two.
