BRADENTON, Fla., March 18 (UPI) -- Jack Wilson homered and drove in two runs and Mike Benjamin had a pair of RBI to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 6-4 exhibition victory Monday over the Texas Rangers.

The Pirates scored five times in the first three innings, collecting four of the runs off loser Colby Lewis, who allowed five hits in 2 2/3 innings.

Hank Blalock, Ed Sprague and Jason Romano all homered for Texas.

Winner Sean Lowe pitched the first three innings, allowing one run and three hits.

Kenny Rogers pitched five strong innings of relief for Texas. The lefthander allowed one run and three hits with no walks and seven strikeouts.
