Tampa Bay 2, Buffalo 2 (OT)

TAMPA, Fla., March 17 (UPI) -- Sheldon Keefe scored late in the second period Sunday night as the Tampa Bay Lightning extended their unbeaten streak to four games by rallying for a 2-2 tie with the Buffalo Sabres.

During its 2

2 stretch, Tampa Bay all but ended the Nashville Predators' postseason hopes and damaged those of the Calgary Flames. The Lightning did the same to the Sabres, who settled for one of a possible four points in games against Tampa Bay and Florida and trail Montreal by three for the final Eastern Conference playoff berth.

Keefe was stationed at the top of the crease when he redirected Vaclav Prospal's pass from the bottom of the left faceoff circle with 2:10 left in the second period. It was his third goal of the season and second in four games.

Dave Andreychuk had the other goal against his former team for the Lightning, who set a club record by scoring on the power play for the ninth straight game.

Taylor Pyatt and defenseman James Patrick tallied in the second period for Buffalo, which wrapped up a 1-1-1 road trip.
